Why Become an ABTOI Member?

If you offer any type of travel service to Italy and are a UK registered company, you can apply to be an ABTOI member.

ABTOI provides numerous opportunities and benefits associated with belonging to a travel industry organisation, including consumer brand recognition.

ABTOI members have access to a range of joint marketing initiatives and pr opportunities throughout the year, taking advantage of the excellent relationship ABTOI has with editors and journalists of the nationals, and the Italian Tourist Board.  The free TravMedia membership that comes with being an ABTOI member puts you in front of all the press contacts you will need to build trust, branding and a working relationship.

Members can also benefit from free business support negotiated by ABTOI with its preferred suppliers who might offer free telephone time (limited) and advice. This might be a legal question, a query on VAT or TOMS, advice on health and safety issues or financial protection solutions.  The Member’s Directory of Benefits sets out the full preferred rates, terms and conditions.

ABTOI membership provides exceptional value and support.  Here are just a few more reasons to become an ABTOI member.

The UK travel industry offers a wide range of conferences allowing delegates to meet abroad – however, few can match the style and quality of the service provided by ABTOI. There are certainly larger events on offer, but I prefer the more authentic and practical approach that ABTOI offers – and they manage to attract a good number of like-minded specialist operators, combined with service providers like lawyers, accountants, FX advisers and experts from trade bodies such as ABTA for up to date legal advice – and practical solutions.

Ted Wake / MD of Kirker Holidays

“Belonging to an association that shares the same foresight in promoting the very best Italy has to offer has been invaluable in developing our own product. The travel industry news alerts and updates have been extremely helpful in keeping on track with industry directives. We are looking forward to future successful endeavours.”
